Platinum Stars striker Bradley Grobler will jet out of the country for Istanbul tonight where he is expected to sign for Turkish Superliga team Goztepe Sport Club.
Grobler recently went for trials at Helsingborgs IF in Sweden but the 23-year-old is not wasting time waiting for Helsingborgs, who promised to look at him again in January, and is now on the verge of signing with Goztepe Sport Club.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Grobler says all his travel documents have been sorted out and he is leaving for Turkey tonight.
"I am leaving the country at 10pm tonight together with the club’s managing director Jason Raine," he says. "I am not going there on trial but to assess the situation and if I am happy with the set up at the club, then I will sign."
Grobler's manager Ryan Hartslief says: "The team was founded in 1925 and are one of the most loved clubs in the League, even though they are now in the second division.
"They are known as the People's Team and remain very popular. They have been bought out by a group of wealthy businessmen who want to get the team back up into the top-flight."
